Director General's Profile
Md. Humayun Khalid, Additional Secretary to the Government, has joined Bangladesh Rural Development Board (BRDB) as Director General on 29-04-2009. Before his promotion and prior to this new assignment, Mr. Khalid was working as Joint Secretary in the ministry of Education. He is a member of Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration) 1982 batch. In his long cadre service career, Mr. Khalid worked as Director, Bangladesh Porjotan Corporation. He also served a long time in the Ministry of Youth and Sports as Deputy Secretary. Mr. Khalid did his Masters in Social Welfare with Honours from Dhaka University. He has post graduation foreign degree in Rural Development. He visited more than 20 countries for various official purposes.
